Cabbage announced as main support for Kasabian’s April tour

Cabbage have just been announced as the main support for the upcoming Kasabian tour throughout the rest of April. Dates include the Kentish Town Forum (18th, 19th & 20th) and Dublin Olympia (22nd) shows. This follows the recently released video for their latest track ‘Gibraltar Ape’, produced by The Coral’s James Skelly – it is their first new material since November’s Terrorist Synthesiser EP and January’s Young Dumb & Full Of… compilation.

The video is a scenic little skit that finds singer guitarist Joe Martin and his ape friend taking into account the local pubs around the band’s hometown of Mossley. Speaking about the video, the band says: “No interminable, egocentric and grandeur oration can define truly of how proud we are of the Gibraltar Ape music video. Filmed and edited by Dominic Foster, starring the keen good folk of Mossley.”

In the wake of their February sold-out tour, March’s VO5 NME Awards Tour and April’s sold out dates in London and Manchester, the band are to play their three biggest shows to date. These will take place throughout June in London, Manchester and Birmingham; see below for dates and venues.
