Chris Stills to release new album ‘Don’t Be Afraid’ Sept 7

Partisan is pleased to welcome Chris Stills to the fold. Making a return some 10 years since his last album, Stills’ new album ‘Don’t Be Afraid’ will see a UK release through Rive Gauche Music (Kobalt/PIAS) on September 7.

Recorded with collaborators including Ryan Adams & Deathcab For Cutie’s Zac Rae, ‘Don’t Be Afraid’ arrives both heavily informed & deferred by the collapse of his marriage, which saw Stills (the son of French singer VĂ©ronique Sanson and CSNY’s Stephen Stills) relocate from Paris to California. Preceding years had seen Chris balance music with a successful acting career, which included a stint in the hit U.S. reboot of Shameless, alongside contributions to the soundtracks of I, Tonya and American Hustle.

Ahead of live shows over here through November, the UK release of ‘Don’t Be Afraid’ will include a digital deluxe format including previously unreleased track ‘Hard To Please’.
