Founder of Swedish 90s indie-rock band First Floor Power, Jenny Wilson has been writing solo since 2004. Taken under the wing of electro-indie cult band The Knife and signed to their label Rabid Records, she appears on their classic debut ‘Deep Cuts’ on ‘You Take My Breath Away’ – written by Karin Dreijer Andersson about a First Floor Power show. Wilson has also collaborated with Robyn on her EP ‘The Rakamonie’. In 2010, she received a European Border Breakers Award as a mark of her international success. She has four albums under her belt to date – all deeply personal in their subject matter. 2013 saw her album ‘Demand The Impossible!’ win three gongs at the Swedish Grammi awards (including Album of the Year) all while Jenny underwent treatment for breast cancer. Her much-praised latest fifth album, the brutally personal EXORCISM is no exception.
