Crybaby announce new EP ‘We’re Supposed To Be In Love’

1. We’re Supposed To Be In Love

2. Water To Wine

3. True Love Will Find You In The End

4. Gloomy Sunday

‘We’re Supposed To Be In Love’ (September 24) is the new single from Crybaby, the third to be taken from their acclaimed debut album. As well as a new Crybaby original ‘’Water To Wine’, the accompanying EP contains a cover of Daniel Johnston’s ‘True Love Will Find You In The End’ and a version of ‘Gloomy Sunday’, a 1933 song made famous by Billie Holiday.

Crybaby’s eponymous debut album is a love letter to the artists and records that shaped Danny Coughlan’s Bristol childhood, principally those by Elvis Presley, Roy Orbison, The Smiths, Scott Walker, Phil Spector and Joe Meek, the Beach Boys, and Jesus & Mary Chain. Crybaby will head out on their first headline tour this September, where Danny will be joined by Mark Frith (who co-produced ‘Crybaby’ with Chris Hughes aka Merrick from Adam & The Ants) on guitar, Charlie Jones on Bass, Stacey Haldane on drums, and Nina Coughlan on percussion. The band will also appear at Standon Calling and Green Man Festivals this summer.
