Fyfe is the immersive new solo project from 23-year-old Paul Dixon.
Debut track ‘Solace’ caused a genuine stir across blogs when it premiered last month: without a manager, a plugger or a label, ‘Solace’ nonetheless reached number 1 on Hype Machine, amassed 100,000 plays and has already been picked up by the likes of NME Radar, Huw Stephens and Rob Da Bank.
The supposed mystery behind Fyfe – the only information available was the back of his head – surprised Dixon, who wished to ease his way into new music gently. Fyfe has now confirmed plans for a new EP, entiled ‘Solace’, due out on April 8.
Further details, including news of the first live shows, will be announced shortly.
