Fyfe remixes Summer Camp, announces remix EP

The ‘Remixes’ EP sees four very different takes on Fyfe’s releases to date, as reinvented by some of the 23-year-old’s hand-picked artists and producers. Jeremy from Summer Camp transforms Dixon’s breakout moment – the brooding, XX-like ‘Solace’ – into a shuffling disco groove (Fyfe has already returned the favour, offering an atmospheric take on the duo’s new single, ‘Fresh’, which is available to stream below). Elsewhere, Fryars turns up the glitch and the gloom on July’s acclaimed, hip-hop flavoured ‘Conversations’; and Kulkid – whose mixes for the likes of Bon Iver and Lana Del Rey have drawn an extensive Hype Machine following – delivers a tropical twist on ‘St. Tropez’. The EP is completed by former Ghostpoet associates Deafkid, who also opened Fyfe’s debut show at the Sebright Arms in July.
