Sometimes music can and need only be described as “beautiful”. Such is the case with London artist Khushi and his track MagpieAll Things Go

Magpie’ is the stunning introduction to K H U S H I. Released as a single via Laissez Faire Club on October 7, the track has already picked up support from Radio 1 and XFM and will be supported by a launch show at London’s Hoxton Plaza on October 8.

A born and bred Londoner who spends his days caring for the blind, Khushi’s – the unusual name derives from a childhood nickname – music is a combination of self-produced home recordings and studio recorded material.

Debut single ‘Magpie’ is a blissful slice of tender pop that marries haunting melodies with lyrics that posses a honesty impossible to ignore, ‘The silence will take care of itself, but I want you and not somebody else. Caught up in things we wouldn’t change, but this arrow’s flying on its way’.

Having quietly uploaded his demos to Soundcloud a few months ago, KHUSHI has supported the likes of Laura Mvula, Foxes and Dan Croll plus festival appearances at this year’s Wilderness and The Great Escape.
