Aoife O’Donovan will play her much-anticipated debut solo London show at the Slaughtered Lamb on Monday, November 4. Hailed in the US as “a vocalist of unerring instinct” by the NY Times, “transcendent” by the Boston Globe, and “the newest darling of the Americana set” by USA Today, the news follows the UK release of O’Donovan’s debut solo album ‘Fossils‘ through Yep Roc to critical acclaim in August and high-praise for her performance at this year’s Transatlantic Sessions.

Produced by Tucker Martine (the Decemberists / My Morning Jacket), ‘Fossils’ features 10 original songs by O’Donovan and contributions from friends and frequent collaborators, including Sam Amidon and Dave Douglas. Rich in songs and unexpected textures, the resulting album bears the remarkable fruits of O’Donovan’s and Martine’s creative partnership.

With interest high on both sides of the Atlantic, Aoife O’Donovan’s debut London show is not to be missed.
