One-off Damien Rice live date at London’s Palladium receives rave reviews

Damien Rice’s only UK live-date this year in support of his new album My Favourite Faded Fantasy picked up a spread of great reviews, including five stars from the Guardian ““My Favourite Faded Fantasy is a musically and emotionally momentous offering. It seems unlikely that he can convey its heartfelt, brittle nuances live along with a guitar, and he does so magnificently. A truly staggering evening.” His first collection of new material in eight years, the new record was co-produced by Rick Rubin, and follows the seminal ‘O’ – which sold two million copies worldwide and spent 80 weeks on the UK chart—as well as the million-selling, Brit-nominated follow-up, ‘9’. A new single to follow lead track ‘I Don’t Want To Change you’ is to be announced shortly.
