Georgia Ruth details new LP ‘Fossil Scale’ and announces UK dates

Welsh singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Georgia Ruth has announced a new album Fossil Scale, due for release on October 7, 2016 via Navigator Records. The record is the follow up to 2013’s Welsh Music Prize winning Week Of Pines – a feat Georgia never contemplated she’d achieve for her critically acclaimed, bilingual debut album.

The first track to emerge from the record –  ‘The Doldrums’ (featuring Meilyr Jones) is streaming below,  with the title track picking up Radio 1 (Huw Stephens) and Radio 2 spins (Jo Whiley – “A beautiful voice”).

Georgia has announced a string of UK dates to support Fossil Scale:

August 27 | Cardiff | Tramshed  | (supporting Villagers)
October 7 | Cardiff | Spillers | (instore)
October 11 | London | Servants Jazz Quarters | (album launch)
October 15 | Cardiff | Chapter Arts Centre | (album launch)

Stream lead track The Doldrums, featuring Meilyr Jones, below.
